Daisy Project
In 2013, Hefeng initiated the Daisy Project, a public welfare program providing art education for village children in China. It aims at implementing general art education in qualified village schools, sending professional art teachers and offering guidance for students. The Duan Village School of Anxin County, Hebei Province was selected as the first trial location, Hefeng helped Duan Village School to establish a series of art courses including orchestra,ballet,choir,painting,drama and sports dance, which set an excellent example for popularizing art education in the surrounding areas. Nowadays, the Daisy Project has accessed to 8 experimental schools in Hebei, Beijing, Jiangsu and Sichuan Province. Nearly 500 voluntary art teachers with professional education background, who come from national top - level art schools, normal institutes and performance groups have been participated in this project. Thousands of rural students has been benefited from the Daisy Project.
