Ignition Project

Currently, the biggest obstacle for Hefeng to implement art education in the rural areas of China is the lack of teachers with professional background; this is something that Hefeng can not change immediately. Hence, the Ignition Project has been launched to provide intensive art training courses for teachers in the rural areas, equipping them with abundant knowledge in arts and basic pedagogy skills. Through this way, Hefeng could gradually but effectively fill in the blank of art education as well as the shortage of art teachers in the rural regions of China.

Choir Teacher Training Program

The Choir Teacher Training Program provides village music teachers with intensive training courses and online, offline guidance to equip them with basic choir teaching methods and abilities to set up student choirs. At the same time, the online platform would also be established to trace, estimate, communicate the teaching process and to present the teaching outcomes. The Choir Teacher Training Program was launched in 2015, by the end of .2021, it has been held 15 times in 19 provinces, benefiting no less than 1000 schools and more than 2,000 teachers in 40 counties.

Fine Arts Teacher Training Program

Based on the current art education environment in the rural areas of China , the Fine Arts Teacher Training Program had been designed with the aim to offer village teachers basic knowledge of fine arts , including painting techniques,creative media,artwork appreciation and other self-cultivation training .By the end of 2021, the Fine Arts Teacher Training Program has been held 3 times , covering 537 schools in 2 provinces ( districts , cities ).814 art teachers have been well trained through this program .

Drama in Education Teacher Training Program

Drama in Education Teacher training program emphasizes quality cultivation, namely to teach students learning skills and problem - solving abilities. In the process of constructing a play between teachers and students, the latter could gradually grasp the knowledge, detect problems and discover the possibilities of yielding solutions in practice. This Training Program is a comprehensive art form that combines literature, performance, art, dance, music and so on. Through learning, teachers could practice art education methods, eventually become qualified in teaching general art courses for children.
